Drabble: Grass (SeBlaine)

A/N:  Posted this awhile ago but wanted to make a separate post so that I’m not hijacking the original photo post. I saw this very lovely picture and it inspired me to write a little SeBlaine. This is un-betaed so any spelling and grammar mistakes are mine.  I have an NC-17 drabble already written but will post that on a different day instead.  In the meantime, enjoy the fluff!

GRASS

Sebastian loved laying on the grass on a sunny day.  He had enjoyed it ever since he was a small child.  The plush feel of the ground beneath him, the blue sky above him, and the rays of sun that spilled through the leaves on the trees above him had always given him a sense of serenity and peace. 

A decade later, that still hadn’t changed.  Sebastian closed his eyes as he laid on the grass.  He could hear the birds chirping and feel the breeze that was blowing gently through the open field; carrying with it the scent of fresh grass through the air.  It was absolutely magical.

Sebastian heard a slight rustling sound followed by the feel of a shadow above him.  Sebastian opened his eyes and found himself greeted by a pair of brilliant amber orbs.

“Hello there, sleepyhead” their owner said.

There was something different about gazing up at Blaine this way.  The view was upside down, but it was still a beautiful sight nonetheless.  If anything, the different angle only served to add an ethereal quality to an already surreal afternoon.

“Hello back, sexy.” Sebastian reached up to touch Blaine’s face and pulled him down gently for a kiss.  It was slow, languid, lazy, and tender.  It was everything that a perfect afternoon should be.

Sebastian loved laying on the grass on a sunny day, especially when it was with the boy he loved.
