This whole heteronormative (whatever the hell you call it) bullsh*t …

I’m a multi-shipper, but I’m a Klaine shipper first and foremost and followed very closely by SeBlaine.  But lately I’m finding it harder and harder to ship Klaine.  Don’t get me wrong, I like Kurt and I like Blaine.  I blame this on the writers.  I often feel like they’re trying to put Klaine into some type of heternormative role or something.

Kurt’s behavior involving Chandler still grates on me to no end.  His behavior toward Cooper also grates on me.  I feel like after all that Blaine had done for him, here’s a guy who goes gaga over any cute guy.  In short, they write Kurt as a freaking fangirl.

The whole Prom Queen thing, that bothered me as well.  The fact that he was voted Prom Queen, and then when Kurt danced with Blaine, noticed whose got his hand on the other’s waist?  Who is leading (hence the “male”)?  Blaine.  Senior Prom, same thing.

And now, Halloween you have Kurt dresses up as Snooki?  Really?  Sure, it’s all fun and games but the fact remains that Kurt was the one who dressed up as the girl rather than Blaine. Wouldn’t it actually be more comical to have the less “girly-sounding” or “ostentatious” person dress up as the girl?  Nope, Glee has to have Kurt once again in that role again.

I mean, fucking Hell!  Why can’t they just be more equal?  I hate gender roles and this whole heteronormative thing is fucking bothering the shit out of me.  It actually is enough to make me stop shipping Klaine.  Yeah, I can see why people keep insisting that Blaine’s the top in the relationship.  Because with all the gender stereotypes we see and now this whole heteronormative thing, how can people not think so?

i guess maybe that’s what the writers are trying to tell us?  That Blaine is the fucking alpha gay and that means he is all manly and therefore only tops?  Bullshit … but it’s canon, isn’t it?  This is upsetting, because I hate gender roles …
